Thanks to Volunteers 2007

Well another year is done for the Millbrook Pow wow 2007 and again i have a list of names to thank. every year we have a great group of volunteers that help make our pow wow a great one, first and foremost i wish to thank the Millbrook Band Council for sponsoring our gathering.
i would like to thank Chief Lawrence Paul who came out and particitpated in our grand entry and gave a very welcoming speech. also elder Clara gloade who came out and did our opening prayer.

I also wish to thank Bernadette Sylliboy, my co-coordinator.

Tracy Sylliboy was a very big help this year (and every year) she was one of the cooks who helped create the wonderful food we enjoyed. she also did the shopping and running around as well.

Thank you goes out to Margaret Gloade, Tokio Herney and Rolin Gloade who also helped out with cooking, security, fire keepers and our runners..they ran for stuff we needed and couldn't get ourselves.

Martin Sylliboy was our Fire Keeper this year, thank you so much to him.

Pat Eagles and Margie Fiddes were also a great big help this year. they were our helpers with a truck and security as well.

another thank you goes out to Carrie Sylliboy our Pow wow Paparozzi, she took really kewl pictures that i will have on here asap

one of my biggest thank yous goes out to a family that helps out every year. The gloades went above and beyond this year, Kelvin, Peter, Bobby, Pat, Francis, and Bradley, took down the old arbor and rebuilt it in 3 hrs. they are awsome. the next night they also painted the arbor under the direction of Clarence Gould.
Clarence Gould was also the elder who helped instruct the men how to put up a teepee.

we had a couple of visitors from Newfoundland this year who helped out a lot. John Benoit and Danna Joy came early and left later and did alot to help us out.

i want to thank our head dancers Stu augustine and Rose Julian for honoring us with your presence, also to all the drums and dancers that showed up
Eastern Star our host, Eastern eagle, red wolfs, indian bay and stoney bear
i also want to thank our reigning Miss Millbrook, Sheri Paul, and Danny boy stephens who were our junior head dancers.
